National Seed Board
Seed Act, 2045 (Second Amendment, 2078) section (3) has provisioned the establishment of National Seed Board (NSB) and according to the same section of the Seed Act, 2045 (Second Amendment, 2078) the following personnel would be the members of the Seed Board. Major function of NSB is to provide opinion and consultation to the Nepal Government for the formulation and implementation of national policy related to seed sector in the country. According to the rights provisioned in the Seed Act, 2045 (Second Amendment, 2078) section (7) Seed Quality Control Centre has been working as a secretariat office of the NSB.
